Welcome to The Charles W. Durham School of Architectural Engineering and Construction in the UNL College of Engineering.
The innovative Durham School features the only program in the nation to combine architectural engineering, construction engineering and construction management, offering students an integrated building system education. The Durham School offers three programs of study in Omaha (at PKI) and Lincoln (UNL City Campus):
Nebraska Engineering partners with the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) to provide needed services for our students in Omaha, including residential, administrative and cocurricular offerings.
Programs on the Lincoln City Campus are held in the engineering complex (Nebraska Hall).

Waters' NREL research connects with Durham School December 2011 - Golden, CO
Clarence Waters is high on his work. The Durham School professor of architectural engineering is enjoying a nine-month sabbatical in the Colorado Rockies, with the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory until May 2012. Waters said while advancing NREL research, “I can learn from it and make connections that I’ll bring back to The Durham School.” He has also facilitated an NREL site visit by DSAEC students. DSAEC's Shen, Jensen win ASCE award November 2011 - Memphis, TN
UNL's Zhigang Shen (left) and Wayne Jensen (right) received the ASCE Society Award at the ASCE 2011 Annual Conference in Memphis, Tenn. on Oct. 21. Shen, an assistant professor of construction management, and Jensen, an associate professor of construction management, wrote the paper,“Civil Engineer as Master Builders and the Professionalization of Construction,” which was awarded the 2011 Best Feature Article Award by the Journal of Leadership and Management in Engineering.
